Cancellation of membership

If you wish to end your membership and/or withdraw from a class, it is the member/guardian who must do this by filling in a notification form by 31.12.20XX this year. If the notification arrives after the date, you will be sent an invoice for current year.

We hold training sessions for non competitive classes 2 semesters per year. January to May and from August to December.

Competition classes pay per semester January-June and July-December.

All registrations for a class are binding registrations to the semesters January - May and August - December. If you have already been allocated a place on a class, you can report that you no longer want the place. If you do not wish to continue with the class after the class has started and the invoice has been sent, the member is obliged to pay for the entire semester even if you do not wish to continue for various reasons. An example is that the child still does not want to go on a gymnastic or that the child does not feel safe without a guardian by his/her side.

Reimbursement membership NOK 500,-

If a membership is to be cancelled, the amount paid will not be refunded in principle. If there is an obvious error, the club will consider whether a refund is justified. It is always the person who registers who is responsible for the membership! All announcements must be in our hands by 31 December of the current year to avoid a new annual membership of NOK. 500,-

Refund training fee

If there are obvious mistakes made by Bergens Turnforening, we will also refund paid amounts either in full or in part, based on the situation.

Crediting of training fee/membership

The membership fee includes statutory insurance for the member and fees to NIF or the Norwegian Gymnastics and Gymnastics Association. The fee applies to a calendar year (1 January to 31 December) and must be paid in full regardless of when in the year you register. The membership fee is paid on first registration, and then once every calendar year in January.

• The membership fee is NOK 500. This is paid in January at the earliest and MUST be paid before the start of the activity.

• If you have not terminated your membership by 31 December, you will receive an invoice for the dues which must then be paid.

• The training fee applies per semester; spring semester and autumn semester. At Bergen Turnforening, the training fee for a wide range of activities is paid monthly, with a 50% discount for the months of May and December.

If Bergens Turnforening has announced a mistake in prices or made a mistake with the allocation of class or membership, we will credit the sent invoice. All classes last 1 semester, i.e. from the start of training after the New Year to the end before the summer and the start in late summer to the end before Christmas.

For competitive classes, 1 semester is 6 months. and cancellation must take place before the next semester's fee is sent. All competition classes will receive the semester fee divided into 2 parts each semester.

Remember that if an invoice is to be credited, the documentation obligation lies with the member. If you have sent a notice to the association, you must take care of your sent e-mail, which can possibly be forwarded as documentation.
